What is Graphic Design?
In my view, I think this is the wrong question to ask.
A more useful question might be...
How (Method)
Do (Manner)
You (Self)
Think (Solve Problems)
Of (A Purpose)
Graphic (Visual Language)
Design (Visual Process)?
My personal response therefore is that I think of graphic design as a process which involves visual thinking in order to communicate a very specific message. I also think of graphic design by being in a constant frame of visual thought. Graphic design is a state of mind and therefore a way of life for me. Visual communication is what I do best. Creating designs that communicate ideas is important to me. Design for me is a process which ensures that the receiver is put in possession of these ideas.
